pickLately I‘ve been reading mostly Asian lit and I‘m glad I‘ve read this. Truly an eye opening one which got me into Faye‘s shoes! You‘ve got to read it to get what I mean! A relatable story, though with some hiccups, I‘ve still enjoyed this novel. About 2 sisters separated when they were young due to China‘s 1 child policy, when they finally met 17 years later was the peak for me especially on how they reconcile at the end. ⬇️
