Great articles in this issue. Articles on Kublai Khan, the imagination of Jules Verne, and the Gunfight at the OK Corral.

I finished the February Wellness issue and am moving on to the Under Jerusalem issue from December. I'm determined to keep up with these as they come in and drop them in #littlelibraries as I finish as part of my #nonfiction reading goal! #natgeo #nationalgeographic #history #science

I was delighted to turn the page and find a familiar amphitheatre! Despite living so close, I've only been to Red Rocks once. Maybe I should check out the yoga they do there 🤔 #colorado #yoga #wellness #natgeo #nationalgeographic #redrocks

Dan Burttner's article on centenarians and cultural foods in areas with long life expectancies is a delight. I wanted to step into the places as he described them. Plus, the food sounded incredible! #food #natgeo #nationalgeographic #nonfiction #health

I greatly enjoyed Zoanne Clark's article on women's health. In it, she also calls for women to talk more about their health struggles in order to destigmatize them and encourage more research into women's health issues. #women #feminism #health #nonfiction #science #natgeo #nationalgeographic

I've made it to the articles on pain in this #natgeo issue and it's as interesting as expected. This sentence stood out to me bacuse my husband, who suffers from chronic pain (he's only in his 20s and it's been there since he was a teenager) hides his pain similarly. #pain #mask #nationalgeographic #chronicpain

I've started in on the January 2020 Pain and Wellness issue of #natgeo today. I'm a bit disappointed in this article early on that presents itself as "the science of annoyance" but just seems like someone speculating on the concept and throwing around science words to sound credible. #science #nationalgeographic #notscience #nonfiction

I finished #NatGeo's Women: A Century of Change while Zoey napped on my stomach. I enjoyed reading it, it includes the stories and voices of so many women. I especially enjoyed reading about #NationalGeographic's history of #photojournalism and women photojournalists. #dogsoflitsy #women #womenshistory #worldhistory #feminism #pomeranian

#AuldLangReads Day 14: Cookbooks are mainly #NewToYouGenre for me as I generally do not read them, even those published by National Geographic and Bargain Priced at that at Barnes and Noble, Brentwood, CA branch. :)

I‘m working my way through the Women: A Century of Change issue of #nationalgeographic as a #nonfiction read this month. I really liked these quote about and from #astrophysicist Rebecca Oppenheimer. #women #natgeo #womenofscience #transgender #transpower
