A few of us have noticed that Litsy has a lot of migraneurs (migraine sufferers) among its members. I brainstormed a few hashtags for us to use. What others have I missed? Tagging a few folks I remember having migraines recently.

p.s. May we never have to use these hashtags!

#migraineandabook #migrainenoreading #migraineandaudiobook #horriblemigraine

Bibliogeekery Those are good ones! ☺️ 🤕😥 #readthepainaway 8y
bmsddk Absolutely love these hashtags, thanks for sharing them!! Great way to not feel so alone. #migrainereads maybe? There are some genres/types of books I gravitate to when my head gets really bad. 8y

BookishFeminist I love these ❤️ migraines are awful but Litsy helps. I've been using the Migraine Buddy app you recommended and love it! 8y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @BookishFeminist I'm glad Migraine Buddy is helping. Wish we all could stay migraine free!! 8y
Texreader I feel for you all! I get migraines as a side effect if I miss one dose of a medicine I take. Argh! It sends me into a dark spiral of pain so I cannot function at all. I am so grateful I can "control" mine. Special thoughts your way. 8y
Texreader And a neighbor is throwing a loud party tonight so I'm on the verge of a headache. 😡 8y
erzascarletbookgasm I like those hastags. You can add me in the list 🤕🙁 8y
Suzze I can't imagine. I feel for you all. 😟😟 8y
bmsddk @Texreader Oh no, wishing you the best with the noise 😕 8y
Lizpixie Me too. I hope I never have to use one again either🤕 8y
Handmade_Redhead Going to have to look up migraine buddy. My daughter gets severe migraines. Mine rarely last more than a day and i can usually sleep them off. 8y
LauraJ My migraines seem to be hormonally induced. Fortunately, I'm able to read, but sound makes me want to jump out of my skin. I like #readthepainaway too, but could totally see wanting a more specific hashtag. 8y
Maike You can add me too 😔 reading helps most of the time, but sometimes it's so bad I can't even do that. #readthepainaway is a good one! 8y
Texreader @bmsddk Thank you. It's midnight here now and the last of the revelers seem to be going home. But here I am wide awake now. Thank heavens for Litsy. 8y
Godmotherx5 I had one last night. I couldn't even read. Sleep helped but "hung over" this morning. 8y
Bibliogeekery Today is another really rough migraine day for me 😫 8y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Bibliogeekery I'm so sorry. You're not alone. I can't take more medicine this week and I'm own with this migraine too. 😢 8y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Handmade_Redhead I hope it can help you. I learned a lot about my patterns and triggers. Now I mostly use it to be sure I don't overuse medicine. 8y
Bibliogeekery Sorry to hear that you are still suffering too! 💓💓💓 8y
moranadatter This is timely. I had one yesterday. 8y

Donna_sBookMinute Nothing like making the most of a bad situation. Not a member but sorry to know so many suffer. 😦 8y
Gezemice I have headaches, fatigue and brainfog related to food sensitivities and autoimmune disorders - I am often confined to resting in bed. I work only part time because of it. I found that diet and exercise helps... not exactly migraines but similar enough - you can add me, too... 7y
BarbaraTheBibliophage @Gezemice Sounds a lot like my experience. I have a few diagnoses and did that diet and exercise make a huge difference. Foods can be positive or negative, that's for sure. May you rest and read well, my friend! 7y
Gezemice @BarbaraTheBibliophage Thank you! I saw your posts and it does seem rather smililar - I hope you find relief and can read well, too! 😀 7y
