TheBee @Books_Bikes_12 I enjoyed it a lot despite the hard and in my eyes tragic story! I enjoyed her bittersweet recollections of her childhood with Buby. That made me smile a lot. It‘s hard to grasp how the Hasidic community lives in midst of modern day New York City. It‘s hard to grasp that these women who ride the same train into Manhattan as I do, have such a different and oppressed life. The book definitely makes you think. (edited) 6y
