Iachimo is even more of a jerk in this version than the original (or at least it's more clear how much a jerk he is).
The Queen I almost expect to cackle when she speaks.
I am absolutely adoring this take on #Cymbeline. The author has done a really good job of keeping as much of the original text as possible, while putting into prose, so it's just a bit clearer. #davidbruce #shakespeare #brucedavidbruce #shakespearereadalong

readinginthedark Yes, he makes my skin crawl. In the version I saw, they made Cymbeline a female and changed her Queen to a King. He would look at the audience with a really evil gleam and a couple of times his mouth kind of twisted and there was some evil hand rubbing. It was 👌🏻 @Jess_Read_This 6y
