3✨ Since I didn‘t really like the second book, I wasn‘t sure I was going to continue the series. This story though was really interesting. Serafina finds herself in a difficult situation and the only one that can help is her enemy! It made for an interesting storyline. Book 3 in #SeriesLove

Bailed at 29%. There were just too many little nagging annoyances, and they were preventing me from getting invested in the story.

2. There's so, so, so many! I'll go with the small island in the Gulf of Finland in Tove Jansson's The Summer Book. Her descriptions were beautiful.

I've had this book on my shelves for a couple of years, and it took checking out the audiobook to get me to read it finally. It's creative, but I kind of think it's trying to do too many things. The resolution is drawn out and unrealistic, as well, which detracts from the story for me.

3✨Biltmore is an actual place and some of the characters were real people. However, this is a completely fictional story of a girl more of nature than human. She has a good friend who cares for animals. Something strange is happening to the animals. Will Serafina be able to figure out what?
