2✨ This was definitely not my favorite. It was very repetitive and dull. The only blood pumping moment was the last maybe 3 chapters. This plot was believable, but pretty extreme for the situation. Plus recovery was really very fast. #SeriesLove

I will be doing lots of much needed self care.
3✨There is less teen drama and more self-discovery thankfully. Roger was seen by Elizabeth mopping floors at her dads office. He is embarrassed because of the image of his job, but needs it for his family. When his long time crush mentions she wants to see him run in a competition that could get him a scholarship everyone learns how fast he really is. I like that this book features supporting characters that I‘m looking forward to see more of.
2✨ Not my favorite. Love triangles, characters using others just because, and lack of communication that really only teens can pull off. #SeriesLove @Andrew65 @TheSpineView
4✨ The series is getting to a point that I don‘t want to stop reading. It is quite backwards from normal characteristics of our twins. I did not like Elizabeth‘s character in this book, but it did end mostly for the better. Interested to see the aftermath at the end in the next book.
I always enjoy reliving my high school years with Sweet Valley High.
All the troubles that seemed so important then are so well captured in this story.

I‘ve been reading a lot of the ‘newer‘ SVH books, but had forgotten this super thriller along the way. The story starts out on a funny note, with Jessica getting to eavesdrop on others in her building when the phone lines get messed up. Things quickly get creepy when a girl washes up on the beach. How will the Wakefield‘s figure this out before they‘re next?!? 😱
My dragon body pillow returns, alongside what I hope‘ll be a fun (if awful) dip into 1980s Teen Issues with a side of WTFery. #deweyapril #readathon
Now this is getting back to the normal vibe of the SVH series! Jess is learning how to surf and falling in love as usual. Liz finds out about a problem and is trying to fix it before disaster strikes. Both stories converge at the end to leave us in a somewhat predictable cliffhanger to set up the next book. Who will win the high school wars?? ❤️ 😆
