A fun, fast read. Stone Barrington is pushed into purchasing a British estate when the very ill owner wants to avoid his non-children from inheriting. Shortly after Barrington‘s arrival a neighbor is murdered. Also, his son Peter has ticked off a violent cult. When Peter disappears to England, the cult followers him.

A quick and fun adventure. Stone heads to Italy for a sudden board meeting. The hotel he purchased is burned down, his car gets stolen when he and Heddy head out for a weekend adventure and then Heddy gets kidnapped. An old nemesis has raised his head. Humor is also available.

I enjoy this series. This particular story will have you annoyed with the enemy. But grateful for the ending.

I wish I enjoyed the Teddy Fay series equally as much, but I find they don't go as fast.

Never disappointed. Quick, fast to read. Stone always finds himself in the most interesting scenarios.

A lot of action. Stone Barrington interferes with what he believes are cop thugs rousting an innocent man. The incident garners him a new client and ticking off men on the outskirts of the mafia.

It's amazing how sometimes when you want a fast read, you finish it in 2 days. This was fast paced, and a great Stone Barrington novel. Knowing you don't have to start this series from Book 1, helps. Recommend reading.

I love Stuart Woods. But the tagged book just wasn‘t right for me. I couldn‘t get invested in the story or characters and my mind kept wandering. It was YEARS ago so maybe I‘ll give it another shot someday.

Stone Barrington‘s new pilot friend is being stalked. It turns out the stalker is a known criminal. In the meantime, Holly has been moved up to the President‘s staff (and a new character is introduced we‘ll probably see again). She is tracking a potential terrorist. Lots of action, but not quite the tension of past novels.
