I'm loving this book (because I'm learning a lot, not because it's a happy comfy book). But, it's bringing back memories of how truly horrible this 4 year period was. I'd forgotten, or blocked out, some of the more disgusting moments, quite a few of them following on the heels of Hurricane Maria.
