Here I am, holding my grandson Michael!
Tagged is one of my favorite books in my favorite children's series by Mercer Meyer. I can't wait to read it to Michael when he comes to visit!
“'Grandmother, what big TEETH you have!' said Little Red Riding Hood. 'The better to eat you with!' cried the wolf“.
I enjoyed reading this book because I have seen this story told many times, not only in books but in movies and shows. This is a great example of traditional literature because although the details might be different from book to book the message stays the same.
The Little Red Riding Hood is another classic story that has been retold in many different ways. Little Red Riding Hood goes to visit her sick grandmother but runs into a wolf on the way. The wolf tricks Little Red Riding Hood and tires to eat her and her grandmother. The wolf is not successful and is never seen again.
Picked out this cute book for my nephew to "give" my mom / his grandma for mother's day, and it's such a sweet story.
There is a delightful John Denver series for children based on a few of his sweetest songs, with delicious illustrations🧡🎶🧡

This retelling of Little Red Riding Hood by Trina Schart Hyman combines the classic tale with beautiful illustrations. By combining not only illustrations of the story but also of things such as quilt squares and flowers on each page set. This creates an almost homey feel that adds to the overall comfort of the story.
