Bought three #romanceclass books (Filipino indie romance) for my mom at the #FeelsSoHot event last Thursday. She binge read them and said Dare to Love is her favorite. She has since moved on to the rest of the romanceclass books that I have, and is on her sixth book. I haven't even read some of these titles! I obviously inherited the reader gene from someone.😂

Tagging another book by Six de los Reyes because Feels Like Summer isn't on @Litsy yet. I haven't read this summer romance set in a musical festival in the Philippines but I keep hearing good things about it. Another gift to a friend, hope she enjoys it. Mocha included here was pretty good, I had two cups!

I found this Filipino YA book charming and I keep recommending it to friends. Also, this edition has the cutest cover. The main character is a baker so I gave this copy to a friend who also bakes! I hope she enjoys reading it, and maybe even get tempted to whip something up while she's reading.

Met up with friends this afternoon and I gave them the books I bought for them during #FeelsSoHot. I have a copy of this M/M Filipino romance in my Kindle but haven't had a chance to read it yet! Gave it to a friend who enjoyed reading Sarina Bowen's M/M romances. Pistachio sansrival in the background was pretty good.👌🍰

My writing community in the Philippines, #romanceclass, holds live readings of romance books by #filipinoauthors. A few days ago was the first time we had a reading of the ~sexy stuff. I choose the excerpts and usually give notes to the actors, and this was the only note for this part. Because it had to land just right.
With everything that was going on during #FeelsSoHot last night, I forgot to ask @minavesguerra to sign this copy. So I brought it along during breakfast so she can sign it. Really enjoyed this Filipino romance between two wedding planners! Loved how independent and strong the heroine in this one is.
Coffee was a Filipino blend that had a hint of hazelnut.☕

My book haul from the #FeelsSoHot romance event from last night. Would have probably bought more if I had more cash with me, these already wiped out all the cash I had as it is. All of these will be given as gifts to friends! While I would have loved signed and personalized copies for myself, I prefer Kindle editions nowadays. Trying to be more if a mininalist (also because recent packing stressed me out).

#romanceclass is a community of authors and readers of indie pubbed Filipino romance. #FeelsSoHot was the 10th event organized by the group, and the first one I was able to attend because I was in Singapore for all the previous ones. Local actors and actresses did live readings of certain scenes from the books, and I think this is such an interesting way of bringing the story to life.
