A legendary ghost ship. An incredible treasure. A death-defying adventure. Forty years ago, the airship Hyperion vanished with untold riches in its hold. Now, accompanied by heiress Kate de Vries and a mysterious gypsy, Matt Cruse is determined to recover the ship and its treasures. But 20,000 feet above the Earth's surface, pursued by those who have hunted the Hyperion since its disappearance, and surrounded by deadly high-altitude life forms, Matt and his companions soon find themselves fighting not only for the Hyperion—but for their very lives.

I kind of gave up on this book. The books idea was awesome, I just didn‘t click with it at the start. I don‘t know what to call them, but they‘re like air pirates that use blimps as transportation. The crew ends up finding a blimp of legend called the Hyperion and they tried to grab hold of it but they end up almost dying from the lack of oxygen from being so high in the sky. I‘m gonna try reading it again.

Loved this second instalment of the Matt Cruse series! Just as full of action and adventure as the first book. The characters continued evolving and there were some great new characters. The ambience and atmosphere was well done and I loved how well everything flowed. The pacing was so well timed and I just flew through this!

This book was a great adventure. Definitely a page turner. I look forward to recommending it to my nieces and nephew. Perfect for ages 10 to 14.
