Family members' memories and interpretations of events vary, and facts have to be teased out from letters, archives, and interviews with elderly people, as the main protagonists are all dead. ⬇

TieDyeDude You should check out this book if you haven't already; it is quite hefty, but my wife and I couldn't put it down! It tackles similar themes. 5d
