What a fun book!

This is not your traditional murder mystery book since it‘s not written in a novel format. Instead, you are given all the pieces to solve the mystery yourself. These included pictures, interview transcripts, notes, maps, newspaper articles, etc.

Witness statements, clues and “photographs“ are laid out for us to solve a baffling 1930s murder... if only I cared. I probably wasn't the audience for this. The mixed media format is fun and it definitely has amusing moments, but much of it seemed dull to me and just made me want to be reading a Christie or Heyer mystery instead of this homage.
