I‘ve loved every installment of the Morrison Crow books. I loved this, too. Silverborn explores new areas of Nevermoor we haven‘t seen yet, and reveals a bunch of previously unrevealed secrets about Morrigan‘s family. Secrets are a theme here…from the secrets Morrigan carries, to the secrets she uncovers about her past. And, the plot is basically a murder mystery, which I loved.⤵️

I have to admit, after so long, I was a bit worried, but this book was worth the wait.

Morrigan's story continues and turns in a new direction when she discovers extended family in the posh Silver District, where she finds political games and social issues galore.

I feel like this is a case of a series growing with its readers, to some degree. The further into the series we get, the longer and more complex the books get, and I appreciate that!

Fourth in the delightful Nevermoor series. This is my favourite book series for children since Harry Potter. It is well-paced, not too predictable and full of interesting characters and world building. I am not sure how many books are proposed, but we are invested in Morrigan and her companions.
In this instalment, Morrigan meets her mother‘s family and is introduced to the snobbery of the Silver District.

Just browsed through Goodreads‘ list of upcoming/new releases and have now added 4 more books to my library holds (and 7 others to my Goodreads TBR). 😬😍 Anticipating a new Thursday Murder Club makes me super happy, and I‘m SO EXCITED the new Morrigan Crow is finally being released! It‘s been so long I may need to re-read the first three…

Summer has just started, but I'm already planning for the best season of the year: Publishing Season! I'd say I'm equally excited for all three of these.
