Pickpick

It feels like I know so much about #Australia, so why bother reading this little informative book written for kids? Well first I decided I wanted to read these little books in my geography challenges just to learn more about the countries before I read my picks for those countries. And secondly, they‘re jam-packed with interesting facts in a small space. In other words, I like these books. I did know most everything in this one, but here‘s an ⬇️

Texreader interesting tidbit I didn‘t know: “In 1996, Australia was the first country in the world to have a complete series of plastic (polymer) notes.” #readingOceania @Librarybelle @BarbaraBB 4mo

My next country jumper book is for #Australia

About the cover:
“Kangaroo Island is the 3rd-largest island off mainland Australia. Visitors get to see sea-lions relaxing on white beaches, koala bears dozing off in trees, and pelicans flying over glistening coves. There are also unique varieties of kangaroos scattered throughout the island. Subspecies of the western grey kangaroo is native to the island and shares its name with the island.” ⬇️

Texreader @BarbaraBB I‘m reading these short little books when they‘re available before reading my picks. 4mo
