Just uncovered one of my dragons from my HK trip!

This one I bought at the ten thousand Buddha monastery because that was a lot of stairs and I felt like I deserved a little treat ☺️ It was amazing - I recommend it if you find yourself in Hong Kong.

I was born in the year of the dragon plus they are just cool (do I tease my mum for being born in the year of the rat? Yes, yes I do)

SamAnne I briefly lived in Hong Kong in 1991 and traveled China. It was a transformative experience and I loved every minute of it. 2y
ravenlee What a beautiful dragon! I collect them (moderately) just because I love them. 2y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @SamAnne, we didn‘t cross over into mainland China - although we could see it from Macau. I loved the skinny double decker trams. What an amazing experience to live abroad for a time ☺️ 2y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @ravenlee, my Mum made me a dragon when I was small and she was in her pottery phase and it‘s been true love ever since! I wouldn‘t say I have a lot - but they are all quite meaningful to me. I haven‘t uncovered my favourite HK dragon yet, hopefully soon! 2y
