Overall, this account of the creation of the province of British Columbia is detailed in the areas it focuses on, well-researched, and flows decently. I would definitely recommend that those interested in this period of B.C.‘s history also refer to To Share Not Surrender (tag in comments), as this book does gloss over a lot of aspects of the relationships between the colonial government and the Indigenous peoples of what is now B.C.
