I cried the entire time reading this book, because man I have been fighting a long long long time on behalf of my students to get where on policy? Yes this is an entirely privileged statement. I'm trying to say I bear witness to this testimony, that this is truth that I saw, have seen, still see and this needs to be rectified. I have been screaming into the abyss for 35 years about education. ⬇️

TheBookHippie Finally there is a book to hand to people who ask me to explain it. This. Is. It. Everyone needs to read this. Especially everyone in education. Due out September 12 11mo

JamieArc I saw Bettina Love speak at a conference (actually, in Grand Rapids, I think). It was powerful. I need to read more of their work. 11mo
TheBookHippie @JamieArc This book is just like hearing her speak it‘s written like your listening over coffee. It‘s so good. (edited) 11mo
TheBookHippie @kspenmoll This put in to words exactly what my students have lived through. 11mo
