Blood Bound to the Light: Book one in the Mate Bound series
Blood Bound to the Light: Book one in the Mate Bound series | Zondra Allison
1 post | 1 read
From the author that brought you The Distorted Windows Trilogy comes the erotic, fast-paced, action-packed first book in the Mate Bound series. This short novel is for anyone that wants a whole lot of beautifully written smut with one hell of a plot and little to no filler. He won her in a poker game. Charlotte's entire life changed the day that the deviant mob boss won her in a high-stakes poker game. She was his for thirty days. Forced to go with him to his compound, Charlotte quickly begins to realize that not everything is as it seems. They call him the Vampire King. Nicholi wasn't the ruler of the underground crime world, he was the ruler of all Vampire kind. From the moment he laid eyes on the gorgeous brunette, he knew that she was his fated mate. However, Nicholi had already met his mate centuries ago, his soul being ripped in two when she was taken from him. He knows only darkness. She is not human. Everything that Charlotte knew about the world around her shifted when she found out that supernatural beings lived amongst humans. As her mate bond with Nicholi grows more intense, she discovers that she isn't human after all. She is something entirely different. Something that has never been seen. Blood Bound to the Light is a paranormal, vampire, forced proximity, darker-themed short novel and the first in the Mate Bound series that can be read as a standalone. This book has darker themes, vulgar language, and extremely graphic sexual scenes that will push limits and is intended for adult audiences only. Please review the warning page before reading. This is not your ordinary vampire novel. It is filled with twists and turns, very little filler, and is extremely fast-paced.

I liked the story. I liked the characters but there were a lot of parts that just didn‘t work for me. I love vampire books and this was really good, I just got irritated with some of the typos and some things that almost seemed super unbelievable. Definitely will read the next book, but not in a huge rush.
