My February pick for best read. I adore Renille and Jathondi and would gladly read more books featuring them. 🥰

I absolutely love Renille and Jathondi and would happily read more about them, unfortunately this book is a stand alone. A dark cult, whose faltering god consumes its own descendants to give it life, pushes a country to the point of war. The skeptical Renille witnesses horrors that make him wonder if gods and the supernatural may actually be real. Princess Jathondi believes they are, but are they worthy of the devout worship of her people?
