pickA story of love and friendship between two men and their families, especially the father-son relationship. I loved the honesty and the real, flawed characters struggling to belong in two cultures and make good choices. It was a little slow for me but I appreciated his sensitive handling of fragile material and emotions. An intimate fly-on-the-wall experience rather than a plot-driven story.
