Three students survive the harsh trials of the preliminaries, winning their way into the finals. Which student will be the one to take home the crown as the winner of the Fall Classic?! Later, the furor of the Fall Classic has barely died down when Soma and the others are sent off to new battlefields! What is this new challenge that will test their desire to be chefs?

Last book and I'm caught up! I'm caught up with the anime so I forgot about all these competitions. It was still as fun as all the rest 😁

A good conclusion to the Pike fish battle between Soma, Hayama, and Kurokiba. I enjoyed learning about Hayama's past and the driving force behind his cooking. The story now transitions the students away from food battles and into on-site internships in which they must learn the business and operational aspects of running a restaurant - quite refreshing!

Easytiger I'm on volume seven can't wait to catch up 8y
Serotonin @Spacecowboytx It's a fun series to read. Though if you like food-battle manga, then I recommend reading Yakitate Japan! The story is bread-centric, and the "tasting" reactions are even more ridiculous ? I'm pretty sure Food Wars was inspired by Yakitate Japan! LOL. 8y
Easytiger The first food manga I read ever was iron wok jan have you heard of it, it's way older, I read it at the library as a kid @Serotonin 8y
