This order note is a whole mood

Karisa Why does it feel like the first chapter would be about first owning one‘s own suckiness in the workplace? 😂. That whole list of titles is interesting 😂 2y
sisilia Hahahaha good ones 2y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @Karisa, not a fan of the whole “maybe it‘s how you are reacting to the situation that‘s the problem” era of management - like yes, I‘m sure we all have some room to grow and improve but 🙃 I‘m over hearing about resilience when people are tired of chronic understaffing and the workloads that come with it. (maybe I should put my name down for it… that was a bit of a rant 😅) (edited) 2y
Karisa @thegirlwiththelibrarybag Agreed! Just had a lecture at teacher staff mtg from our principal today about using a canned SEL curriculum “with fidelity”. We were trying to tell him that students were not connecting to it—the curriculum isn‘t authentic. We were asking to teach the same concepts but in our own ways/customize to our Ss. Principal‘s solution: “you‘ve just got to sell it better. We paid a lot for it”(+ wants all on yard duty everyday)🤮 2y
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @Karisa, urgh! Why are people in management positions like that? 2y
