Mehso-so

So...eh. She's a (spoiler) and he's a (spoiler) and oh that third guy? Well, he's a...(spoiler). Paranormal, check. Romance, angsty. Cliffhanger, boy howdy. This one lives somewhere between the realm of YA and new adult and I can't even say why because, well, spoiler! I might read the next book to resolve the cliffhanger, but... Eh. #bookisholympics book three

OSChamberlain Wooohoooo you've got this! 8y
ImaginativeMom @OSChamberlain I'm the little engine that could. 😂😂😂😂 You? 8y
OSChamberlain Hahaa I'm 40 pages into book 3 and neglecting sleep and all forms of responsibility to keep up with the challenge 😩😂 8y
ImaginativeMom @OSChamberlain This is why we have coffee, redbull, mountain dew and responsibilities are overrated. Temptation, however, is evil! Abandoning Litsy! (At least until I choose the next book! 😂😂) 8y
OSChamberlain Sadly caffeine has never worked for me. I just power through the pain. Hahaaa. I chose my books in advance, and I think your plan to abandon Litsy for a bit is an excellent one. I'll join you! 8y

"I exhale the breath I had been holding." This line! Or any one like it. "I let go of the breath I didn't know I was holding," for instance. They *all* make me crazy. I actually ran across a, "I released a cough I didn't know I was holding," the other day. Insanity making. Does this bother anyone else?

Dogearedcopy The one that always gets me is, "I heard someone screaming... I realized it was me." I see this, or a version of it on almost every book that has an intense, scream-worthy scene. At this point, it read lbs like a cliche :-/ 8y
CaitlinSiem I notice this line EVERY SINGLE TIME. And then I roll my eyes so hard it hurts 🙄 8y
ImaginativeMom @Dogearedcopy Yes! That one, too!! Like how do you not effing know??? @CaitlinSiem Right? You'd think an editor would immediately strike it. 8y
LitHousewife @ImaginativeMom @Dogearedcopy I had the exact same gripe in The Woman in Cabin 10 about the screaming. Enough!!! 8y
