Nimue is descended from the elder folk and blessed with immortality and enchantment, but her life changes after a fateful encounter with the Stranger.

This story shifts through time starting with Camelot to Kublai Khan‘s empire then the French Revolution & other periods. I loved the beautiful illustrations and costumes. I had a bit of a problem with her later interactions with the Stranger and her decisions but overall enjoyed & will continue.

CoffeeCatsBooks Oh, forgot to mention Neil Gaiman‘s Death character shows up, which I thought was pretty cool. 7y
TobeyTheScavengerMonk Didn‘t even know this existed! I keep up with both the Justice League Dark comic (where Xanadu frequently shows up) and the Phantom Stranger comic so I will have to check this out! 7y
CoffeeCatsBooks @TobeyTheScavengerMonk You‘ll probably get more out of this and notice characters I missed, as I don‘t read either of those series. I had to google a character at the end that I‘d seen but didn‘t know (not naming to avoid spoilers). 7y
