Pickpick

The Moon Over Red Trees by Aliette de Bodard is definitely a new favourite of mine, and I want to know what you think. The history, magic, and complicated relationship made for an engaging read, and I'm looking forward to exploring more of her work. Let me know in the comments what you thought. You can read the full review in the link below.

Loose-leaf Links is a feature where I gather together the interesting bits and pieces on sci-fi, fantasy and romance I've come across and share them with you over tea.

Life has seriously been cramping my reading style lately, but I'm sneaking in the odd online story here and there. Uncanny Magazine is a favorite for thoughtful and weird works by a wonderfully diverse mix of writers known & new. The Kickstarter for Year 3 ends tomorrow, if you're into that sort of thing.
