Pickpick

Came across this book reading about craft/writing & how culture shapes narrative, readers‘ expectations, & how writer‘s workshops in the US are geared towards writing within a Western literary tradition & meeting those expectations. That author recommended this book which collects three lectures given at Harvard in which Jen explores & discusses differences between the literary traditions of the East & the West. Definitely an interesting read.

Came across this book while reading Craft in the Real World, thought it sounded interesting, and was lucky enough to find a used copy that was also signed!
