The Tudors in Love: The Courtly Code Behind the Last Medieval Dynasty | 
so-soThe fact that it started off with King Arthur and the legends surrounding him, along with the concept of courtly love made the beginning drag a little; I picked up this book to read about the Tudors, not Arthur and Guinevere. Once it got more into their history I enjoyed it more. I also was pleasantly surprised that this novel went beyond just Henry VIII, including information about the love lives of his children as well.

Today was the first day I missed living in London! Waterstones and Foyles both had 50% off every hardback in the store. Wow ! Mr K facilitated an unscheduled stop at a very small provincial branch and I had just 20 minutes. But I managed to make every minute count! Heaven knows what would of happened if I‘d of gone to a bigger store! 🤣
