This book is a must for Grey Gardens fans, though animal lovers be warned the cat hoarding situation (and burials - or not ... where is Hippy's body?! - on very delayed timelines) makes it a a bit cringe-worthy.

Just saw this musical and heard that the director gave the cast this book to read.
