Gabriel and Theo‘s families‘ run rival cafes in town and when both shops are threatened by a new “world fusion†cafe, they band together to save their families‘ shops. they also find companionship and friendship with someone who understands their family dynamics and personal struggles. slight homophobia in this, does get resolved but still sucks. beyond that, it was cute and very quick read.

Just started this today! I love the author's previous work, Meet Cute Diary, so I was excited for this new one! It's an enemies to lovers romance about the sons of rival bakeries/cafes! So far, it's cute!
I almost didn't post today...the news about Roe has me feeling sick and drained. But it's important now more than ever to highlight queer stories... they're coming for LGBTQ rights next. #pridemonth
