Mitch @MamaGina I‘m kinda new to this game - loving the gentle heat it creates 👍🏼 3y
Mitch @MamaGina what‘s your favourite thing to cook in yours? 3y
Soubhiville I‘ve been using my Dutch oven to bake bread lately. Mine is on the small side, 2 quart I think? I want to get a larger one for doing bigger meals. I‘ve been enjoying this cookbook I recently got: 3y
MamaGina I love it for braising. Getting a good sear on some chicken or a chuck roast, deglazing with wine or broth, adding vegetables and herbs, then letting it all marry in the oven at a low temp for several hours. Something good always seems to happen. 😋 3y
Mitch @MamaGina that‘s my Sunday sorted! 🙏 3y
Mitch @Soubhiville we tried that too. This book has a great recipe for Dutch over bread that‘s for a small pot and good for 2 people! 3y
