My #bookspin for August was a free Kindle book that I forgot I downloaded.

It took me about an hour to read. It's not good, the whole premise felt off. It was written almost like pre-war upstairs downstairs murder mystery with a magic cat except they had phones.

It didn't work for me and there were quite a few spelling and grammatical errors that threw me out of the story

This was okay. It was an interesting story, but the characters were not that well drawn, the writing was not that great, and the editing was not good. That said, it was a quick read, and I liked it enough to finish it. I liked Hank, the cat. I think it was also free from Kindle.

⭐⭐⭐After @Texreader posted about this book being free on Kindle, I HAD to get it. An easy read with likeable characters. I wanted MORE mystery, but it wrapped itself up nicely. Hank is a veryyy cute and smart kitty!!
