I finally have some time off for the holidays and will be posting more often. I read this back in June, and what a beautiful journey. It reminded me of "Circe" by Madeline Miller.

pickThis book was beautifully written, but also tragically sad . Medusas story from an entirely new view . Not a villain or monster but a victim who suffered horrendous pain and injustice. This book is an easy 5 star Read for me will definitely come back to this one again
pickI liked this. The first part, from Medusa's POV was nuanced and lovely and, ultimately, heartbreaking. The portion from Perseus's POV was less interesting but he's obviously an important part of her story so it makes sense that his story be included. This isn't quite as good as Madeline Miller's retellings but I think it's a good addition to the recent crop of retellings focused on female characters.
