Got 15 hours and 15 minutes on the clock with the two best reading buddies a girl could ask for! Didn‘t make it to 24 hours of reading, but I‘m not mad at it! These were some fantastic reads, two of which I am still working on. I hope everyone had a great ‘thon!

Pickpick

Been saving for when I finished my #great2020parasolversedoover read.

Fascinating! Learned about misogyny behind criticism of Romance. Metonymy & color schemes. Most importantly:
"Just because you are writing a woman as your main character doesn‘t mean you are automatically writing a Heroine‘s Journey. The Heroine‘s Journey is NOT simply the Hero‘s Journey undertaken by a woman. It‘s narratively different, not biologically different." ????
