4 ⭐ I wasn‘t expecting much of this, and started pretty typically for an indie published book. Kitsune (fox) are illegal and their sworn enemy is the werewolf. book 1 deals with Mi keeping custody of her sister, afford food, and stay away from. This has little action but a bit of magic but not exactly how it works. There is a bit of action at the end which is just enough to make you interested in what happens next and seek out book 2.
