During the day, I can usually find something to do that will occupy my mind just enough to distract me. It can be something as simple as unloading the dishwasher or putting away laundry.

NGL though that it can be harder to switch off my brain at night. So I put on sleepy music and try to think about something else, anything else, and I fall asleep eventually.

ChaoticMissAdventures I have super high anxiety and I do not sleep well. My therapist has me trying a new thing where I am working out hard before bed, taking a warm shower then trying to sleep. It feels counterintuitive but I am excited to try (we decided to try then I got hurt so exercise has been rough) 2w

dabbe @Susanita I do a similar one that I call the alphabet game. I'll think of a subject (like movies); then, I'll start with “A“ and try to think of 3 movies that start with that letter (ABOUT LAST NIGHT, AMADEUS, ALL ABOUT EVE). Then, on to B. I have never gotten through to Z because I have fallen asleep. I hope one of these works for you! 💙🩵💙 2w
