pickI really enjoyed looking through this book. It lives at my parents' house, so it took me a year of casual reading, and I learned about so many neat things, places, histories, and cultural practices! I'm bummed that the book got damaged in the hot water heater flood my parents had early last week. I would highly recommend this book.
Our Thanksgiving week is off to a weird start. We are staying with my parents this week (safely), who just returned home from a mostly self-contained roadtrip (in their Casita camper) to find that their hot water heater gave up and flooded a third of the house (most of the damage in dad's at-home office). This lovely book and a guitar dad's had for over 35 years are some of many casualties.
