The world has failed Syria's 3.8 million refugees and some of the world's wealthiest countries have turned their backs on this humanitarian disaster. The need for food relief is great and growing. Acclaimed chefs and cookbook authors the world over have come together to help food relief efforts to alleviate the suffering of Syrian refugees. Each has contributed a recipe to this beautifully photographed cookbook of delicious soups from around the world. All profits from the sales of this cookbook will be donated to help fund food relief efforts through various nonprofit organizations.

The main themes of my book haul today are cookbooks and photography books. I limited the number of cookbooks I got (but WOW does the main library have an amazing selection ???) because I knew I had to get a handful of books from the art section (lol, "handful"). Sooooo excited to get both Lucky Peach books out. Have already devoured but I can't wait until Christmas to read it again so I checked it out once more ✨

Beck9lol What a fantastic stack!!! 👏 7y

This morning with Hunter Berryhill of "Rutland Welcomes." Hunter is an English teacher in Rutland, Vermont, and one of people here who has helped welcome the state's Syrian refugees this winter. I am in awe of Hunter, Mayor Chris Louras, and the city of Rutland. Why I love the 802.

I've never been so excited for a book to be sold out. I just bought a copy without an expected delivery date and that's ok because proceeds go to organizations helping Syrian refugees. I love cookbooks and this cause!

Pretty happy about this find. All profits go to help Syrian refugees thru USA for UNHRC. I think it would be great if some of you got a copy too- thanks in advance
