Bad News Cowboy: Shoulda Been a Cowboy | Maisey Yates
7 posts | 5 read | 2 to read
Can the bad boy of Copper Ridge, Oregon, make good—and win the rodeo girl of his dreams? Kate Garrett keeps life simple—working hard, riding her beloved horses, playing cards with her brothers. Lately, though, she feels a bit restless, especially when family friend Jack Monaghan is around. Sexy and shameless, Jack is the kind of trouble you don't tangle with unless you want your heart broken. Still, Kate could always use his help in learning how to lasso someone a little less high risk… Jack can't pinpoint the moment the Garrett brothers' little sister suddenly stopped seeming so…little. Now here he is, giving flirting tips to the one woman who needs zero help turning him on. Love's a game he's never wanted to play. But he'll have to hurry up and learn how before the best thing that ever entered his life rides right back out again… Look for A Copper Ridge Christmas, a Christmas novella in the Copper Ridge series by Maisey Yates.

I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it (some I‘ve had so long I don‘t even remember why!). Feel free to join in!

I am LOVING this series. This third installment in the Copper Ridge romance series features barrel-racer Kate Garrett and her older brothers‘ best friend Jack Monaghan, who is a rancher. They have some individual issues to work thru, but they‘re better together than apart. Great banter, great chemistry. I adore Jack!! I love this group of family/friends. The entire cast is in a great place as a family at the end of this story. Really great story.

Love the entire collection of Copper Ridge and Gold Valley novels and novellas from this author, but this is still my favorite one overall.

Grab bag # 2. All new to me, I think. I might have read The In. At Eagle Point already but the blurb is only semi familiar so maybe not.

Another rainy walk this evening. But Peri (and I) needed it. Time for her pre-bed nap.

I'm diving back into the Copper Ridge series. #romantsy

This was a light, fun read. I really enjoyed the spunk of the lead female.
