The contrasting personalities and the division of domestic labor between two main characters keep the story engaging and consistent. Beautiful artwork delivers adorable characters with tiny bodies, baby cheeks, and round bare feet. Check out the translation notes at the end of each volume. They provide more context to the Japanese culture and food.

This was a very cute manga about the life of some forest sprites and their adventures. I‘m not sure if I‘ll continue with the series but I really liked the friendship of opposites between Hakumei and Mikochi.
