pickI raced through this engaging read, absolutely unputdownable. Rising Tides is the second book in the series Chesapeake Bay I loved Ethan‘s story and how he connected with Seth. I can‘t wait to read Phillip‘s story, it‘s a great series to get lost in.
pickThis was a perfect book to take with me on my beach vacation. We even went through the tunnel that goes under Chesapeake Bay, which is mentioned (the bay) in the book! Nice continuation of the story begun in Sea Swept, with what seems to be some good nuggets being built for the next book in the series. Will be adding that one to next month‘s list!

so-soWhile I liked the story well enough, it felt 1 dimensional. I always had every intention of finishing the book, but it was soooo slow at times I couldn't finish a chapter without getting distracted. It lacked a lot of the qualities from book 1 where I fell in love with the Quinn's.
She really expects a proposal after the first official date out? 🙄🙄🙄 regardless if they've been friends half their lives and secretly in love with one another, it's still a brand new relationship. Stuff like this is driving me batty with this book.
My kindle can't get here fast enough. Beach reading takes too much effort on my iPad 😩😩
I want to love this book and devour it like the first. But I am so bored! 😩😩😩
My first book for July is the second book in The Chesapeake Bay saga. I have never in my life read 11 books in a single month. I've had a lot of free time lately 🤓📚
