Stuck on the couch for health reasons unrelated to my right ankle, so I decided that rereads counts this year and I may as well read the first five Amber books since I'm not in the mood for Hamnet (besides, it's too heavy to read on my back.)

Mehso-so

I have to say that I didn't love this as much as the first two installments of the series. It did pick up towards the middle so I had a good time reading it but idk if the fact that the antagonist from the first two books wasn't a factor anymore led to the different feel of this one or not. I'm half way through so I will definitely press on with the series.

I don‘t know if it‘s binge fatigue or I‘m heading into a reading slump but it‘s taking me forever to get through this one. I‘m trying to push through to the end today since it‘s so short but I may have to scrap my plans for finishing the series this week. At least I have good company with my reading buddy Sierra. #CatsOfLitsy
