so-soA decent YA adaptation. I love a character's disability being no big deal- mentioned once and then never again, allowing her to just be a full person in the story. This Wentworth was written as a young Black man, with Walter's racism causing his disapproval. While I liked the inclusion of a lead character of color, and it was clear that the "good" characters despised his mistreatment, the bigoted remarks were still tough to read. #PemberLittens
