Another excellent read in this series, where we see Rhona still recovering from events at the ned of the last book. Pleased to see the author didn‘t put Rhona in another kidnap situation like the previous books. But OMG, the ending of this book 😢 or not! Now need to get hold of the next book. @EadieB @Tove_Reads

When Claire regains consciousness after a stranger causes her car to crash in a snowstorm, she is frantic to discover her nine-year-old daughter Emma missing from the back seat. Then Emma is found in the woods nearby, unharmed but cradling a child's skull.

EadieB This book was very interesting. It dealt mostly with the dead child that Emma has seen. The dead child is explained and now makes sense but the real issue is McNab. Is he gone or is he back? I guess we will find out in the next book. 2y
Andrew65 Good review, yes left that ending in a way it could be interpreted in more than one way. 2y

Moving onto Book 6 of the Rhona Macleod series set in Glasgow. Let‘s hope Rhona makes better decisions in this one and doesn‘t put her life at great risk. @EadieB @Tove_Reads

Not my favourite in the series, but still an enjoyable read. I had wished for a bit more about Rhona and her life, but the focus was on the case, and a bit in Chrissy and Sam. However, the end shows I‘ll get what I want in the next book 😊 The other reason this isn‘t my fave is that I didn‘t really warm up to the case 🤷🏼‍♀️

Andrew65 Now 2 behind you. 🙈 2y
EadieB I‘ll be reading this one this week! 2y
