pickA cute story about a couple who was married for 41 years, started a family, experienced a lot over the years, & never moved. Made me feel all types of emotions, but sooo worth reading if you loved The Snowman by Raymond Briggs 💕 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
pickRead this today and then immediately read it again. Embarrassingly, I did notice this story was all dialogue until the second reading! Loved their relationship, their political fights, and discussion of British current (from 1928-1971) events.

I stopped at the library today to pick up a book for a friend who injured her foot and needs good reading material to motivate her to rest so she can heal up. Books I got my dad for his birthday. Love Raymond Briggs and I think these books are beautiful. Ethel and Ernest is about his parents which they made into a tv program over Christmas. When the wind blows is about a nuclear apocalypse and notes from the sofa is a collection of essays about middle age
