pickWow, this book wasn‘t what I expected! Yes, it was a direct continuation of Sister Light, Sister Dark… but there are timeline shenanigans with fairy-like creatures, and the climax that I thought would come in the third book arrived in this one. It appears that the third book will be about Jenna‘s daughter. I kind of wonder if Jane Yolen sold a trilogy and then got bored of Jenna and wanted to end her story early. Well, I still enjoyed it a lot!
