#WORSTOF21 @megnews

I realise some will be an #unpopular opinion.
Stink stank stunk ..

megnews Oh no! I had high hopes for The Personal Librarian. 2y
TheBookHippie @megnews I‘ve read her real biography and taken the tour at The Morgan Library. This author mixed up facts timelines and although she admits it at the back of the book to do that with a well known person turns me off entirely it‘s not the first time this author has done that. Either write fiction or nonfiction she blurs the lines and turns facts to the detriment of the people she‘s writing about. 2y

May. Memoirs.

#BookShelfBook2021

My own personal challenge to get books off my shelf and off my cart and read. Then I will decide to keep the book or pass it on to the bookshop or a bibliophile friend.

#memoirmonday #readingresolutions a book I read a few years ago. It‘s about a girl who pretends to be pregnant to see how people react. Some of people‘s reactions were interesting. This was also made into a movie

Jess7 This sounds familiar. Was the movie named the same? 6y
BookishGirl06 @Jess7 yes it was 6y

Pickpick

The true story of a high school senior who faked a pregnancy for her senior project. Gaby's story is a really honest investigation into how we see others and overcoming expectations and stereotypes. She's a real inspiration to be the best version of you.

The first of a new stack of Iibrary books. Should be an interesting look at the reality of stereotyping.

bookish_wookish They still stamp your books?!!?? I love that! 8y
ClairesReads @bookish_wookish yup! They're from the library at the school I work at. Cute hey? 8y
bookish_wookish Stamping books is a lost art! We just get a receipt here. @ClairesReads 8y
ClairesReads @bookish_wookish we just get receipts at our public libraries too, school keeps it real with the stamp 😆 8y
