Can the animals of the forest find a way to save the owl's home? Fre and Flo, brother and sister of the Ferret family, are off to pay a visit to Auntie Tensie. Tensie is the old owl who lives at the top of a very special tree in the beautiful Dark Forest. When Fre and Flo arrive, they see a big yellow "X" painted on the side of Auntie's tree-a mark made by the Big Boot Outsiders. Auntie Tensie is so sad because she knows that soon her tree will be cut down, and she will have to leave her home. Fre and Flo overhear the Big Boot Outsiders saying that tomorrow is the day, that only if Auntie's tree can sprout flowers will it be saved! But how can Fre and Flo and the rest of the families of the forest make such an amazing thing happen-and in such a short time?
