Pickpick

In this P book by Calef Brown, readers explore a beautifully illustrated world of poems. Be it short or long, each poem takes one on an adventure from the surreal topic such as having bear paws to a wacky focus on painting on a canvas made of toast. This is a fun read to try CR with your class.

UDL principle 2.1 clarify vocabulary and symbols and EL 14 simplify your speech by making it slower and redundant are applicable for this approach for the book in the classroom so students can follow along smoothly. #ucflae3414su20

DrSpalding Choral reading is the perfect teaching strategy to use with poetry anthologies like this. I have added this book to my stack. You have found wonderful resources to support your use of these strategies in your future classroom. Well done. 4y

I really didn't enjoy this book and I wouldn't read it my children because it just doesnt make sense for the most part. The color use for the illustrations is probably the only good thing about this book.

Poetry and was written in 2008. This book is quite frankly about so many things and none of them go together. This is the point of author because the title doesnt make sense so does the other poems.
